This is a fantastic wine. It is medium bodied with great depth and complexity. There is minerality behind the ripe stone fruit flaovrs and floral aromatics. Quite a steal.

Clara Stella is a prime example of a Vernaccia di San Gimignano with its delicate scent, combining fruity notes with hints of minerals. The taste is bold, persistent and savory, with a characteristic subtle bitterness on the finish. The owners of Cappella Sant’andrea named their wine Clara Stella after daughter Clara and the fact that she is the “star” or stella of their lives.
