Winemaker's Notes:

This Chardonnay pours a bright golden hue. Aromas of ripe pears and honeydew melon are accentuated with cinnamon and clove. Floral aromatics develop in the glass. Balanced between fresh acidity and creamy richness, this wine sings!.

We gently whole-cluster press our Chardonnay down to French oak barrels for fermentation and aging on lees. Partial malolactic fermentation along with lees stirring helps to highlight a creamy, full-bodied counterpoint to the brightness of the Petaluma Gap acidity. Our Roberts Road Chardonnay always strikes a beautiful balance.
